Computer-generated
animations can be used to educate, explain a concept, demonstrate
a mechanism, or to explain and demonstrate the occurrence of a
complex event or process. A simple animation may contain images
which are not to scale and their movements may not be based upon
scientific principles. These animations can be purely illustrative
in nature.
Conversely, an
animation may be based upon output from a scientific computer
simulation program or from output data from a test, experiment, or
a recording device such as a decelerometer, on board computer, or
generated results from HVE-3D. These types of animations are
referred to as scientific visualizations since they are based upon
the laws of physics or scientific principles and are shown to
scale. They can be used to illustrate visual obstructions, sight
lines, or how specific objects interact with corresponding
physical evidence. HRYCAY Consulting Engineers has the software
and hardware to prepare scientific visualizations of a complex
event or to illustrate the creation of a new commercial
development or project.
